COMMUNITY COUNCIL
What we do
Aberedw Community Council, with a current annual precept of £900, is one of the smallest Community Councils in Powys and covers the communities of Aberedw, Llanbadarn y Garreg and Rhulan. The Council meets on a bimonthly basis, in the Aberedw Church Hall and discusses any local issues raised by the members of the council, and considers and comments on any planning application submitted in the geographical area covered as well as the required actions of a community council. The Community Council discusses all issues in the bimonthly meetings and does not have any sub-committees
The clerk to the Council is Gareth Jones who can be contacted on (07464) 166262 or via e-mail to Teddyllanyfelin@me.com or via letter to Bracken Lodge, Aberedw, Builth Wells, Powys, LD2 3SQ
The members of the council have agreed that all correspondence should be via the clerk, however as all the members are well known in the community a personal approach to any member is welcomed.
Members of the community and public are welcome to join us at all our meetings and are able to make relevant points and contribute to the discussion with the members agreement.
